      Each month the council of elders
      chooses the leader
      after the beauty of his dreams
     
      But how they knew all our dreams,
      it was a mystery to us
     
      And for a month,
      our most beautiful dream
      became the emblem
      mothers told their children
      about it at bedtime
      soldiers engraved it on their shields
      and all passers-by could see him
      from a great distance
      fluttering on the highest tower
      of our fortress
     
      Maybe, therefore,
      the fortune did not lose sight of
      our defensive walls and since then
      all neighbor cities do not cease to wonder
      what is this secret
